Muybridge was the first person to capture static motion photos of locomotion in 1878 for former railroad tycoon and governor, Leland Stanford. This work (animated version of Muybridge's motion photos shared here was created in-house by our team) influenced our group to create a couple of our own work revolving around horse locomotion, which is shared below.
